St Barnabas Hospice Road Trip, sponsored by Harbour BNI
What is BNI ?

BNI was established in 1985 as a business and professional organisation that allows only one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter

With over 535 active chapters in the UK & Ireland and 12,000 UK members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world. It was due to local demand that Harbour BNI was started in 2002 and has been growing ever since

The BNI principle is: "If I give you business, you will want to give me business"

Belonging to BNI is like having a strong sales force working for you, because all the other members carry copies of your card to give to potential customers. When they meet someone new that could use your products or services they hand out your card and personally recommend your services

Why join?

BNI provides a structured, supportive, business environment in which local business people can get together to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for each other

Word of mouth is the most effective form of advertising. BNI provides a structured environment for the development and exchange of quality referrals. The key word here is QUALITY referral. The average chapter of 40 members gives around 60 referrals per month to its members from the BNI statistics

If you are looking to expand your business and would like to come along, please contact Harbour BNI via email book your place. There is a fee of £7.50 payable on the door, which includes a full English breakfast

Meetings

BNI Harbour Chapter meet every Tuesday morning at 6.45am throughout the year at the Sussex Yatcht Club, Shoreham [map] where we network between ourselves, have breakfast, followed by a formal structure which develops our knowledge about each other, improving our referral opportunities

Why so early?

Commitment to building relationships is a key philosophy to BNI and we only want the most dedicated professionals to become part of this chapter and it’s continuing growth. The simple reason the formal meeting starts at 7.00am is this - if you’re serious about your business, you’ll be serious about seeing it grow, and you’ll be here at 6:45am. This also means that your normal working day can carry on without disruption at the conclusion of the meeting - 8.30am
